Why did we choose the name VIVA
When I was living and working in Switzerland, I noticed something special about the way people celebrated the little things. Whether it was finishing a big project or simply sharing a beer after work, they’d raise a glass and say “Viva!”
It’s like saying “Cheers!”, but with a little more meaning. To life. To good friendships, good teamwork and mutual respect.
Switzerland became an important part of my story. Piz Beverin, our local mountain and the backdrop to our life there, still represents something special to me. A reminder to stay grounded, appreciate where you are, and never lose sight of what really matters.
For me, VIVA isn’t just about electricity. It’s about bringing positive energy into every job and creating an experience people genuinely feel good about, from the first conversation to the moment the job is finished.
So when it came time to name my business, Viva Electrical just felt right.
A name that represents where I’ve been, what I value and the way I want to do business.
ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Jordan.
I grew up in Byron Bay and have been a licensed Electrician since 2015.
Soon after qualifying, I swapped the beach for the mountains and moved to Switzerland.
I worked in various roles within the building industry, always with a strong focus on electrical work. In true high standards, and being on time (trust me, you don't keep the Swiss waiting).
That experience shaped the way I work today. Precision, high standards, reliability and doing things properly became non-negotiable.

LOCAL TO BYRON BAY
What we stand for
Now back in Byron Bay with my family, I’ve brought those Swiss standards home and combined them with the personal, down-to-earth service I grew up with here.
I believe electrical work shouldn't just be done right, it should also be a positive experience. That means clear communication, showing up when I say I will, and leaving you with work that's safe, tidy and built to last (and no, I won't leave a trail of dust behind me).
From fixing light tha's been flickering for way too long to full-scale installations, I'm here to make sure your place is powered up properly - and with a smile.
I'm all about doing quality work, building great relationships and making the process easy and enjoyable from start to finish.
